During the Mac PaLTO Consensus Conference held in Milan from 22 to 23 of February 2023, an international expert panel gathered to reach an agreement on practical clinical definitions of “patients with limited treatment options” (PaLTO) among “adults with a lung infection caused by Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC)” and “who do not have cystic fibrosis”
